UPDATED NORTH BAY STORM FORECAST FOR THE 5TH

Share with Friends

Less than a week from the next storm’s arrival, overall model agreement is excellent on a moderately wet system for the North Bay for next Wednesday.

You can clearly see the jet stream being pulled south into California by the upcoming storm.

The GraphCast AI model has a weak storm brushing us on Tuesday and then the main system arriving during the day on Wednesday.

This corresponds well with all of the other major models.

Once again the North Bay looks to the on the rough dividing line between heavy rain totals, and light ones. The various models think that by the time the storm clears out on the 6th, our region should pick up 3/4 to 3 inches of rain. The heaviest totals will be in the north.

Although the models diverage a bit, there is another chance for rain around the 9th. And into mid November we may be a bit wetter than average. More to come.
