Update on Monday-Wednesday Storm

Share with Friends

Rainfall totals for the North Bay have been revised upward this morning as the latest cold low pressure system moves down the coast.

You can see the cold center of the low approaching in this view from late Monday morning.

The first showers will come Monday afternoon, and rain with possible embedded thundershowers will be with us, off and on, into Wednesday.  Any thundershowers that take place have the potential to bring strong winds, and brief heavy rain.

Here are the revised totals as high resolution models weigh in on the strength of the system.

This will also be a cold storm, with snow levels possibly down to 2500-3000 feet.  So there may be a dusting to a few inches of white on the mountains of the North Bay by late on Tuesday.
