Traffic Accidents/Tieups Continue across North Bay

Share with Friends

Even as PG&E begins power restoration across its service area, law enforcement officials in the North Bay are cautioning drivers to use special care at scores of busy intersections that will be without power for a third night.

This afternoon traffic was snarled on Highway 12 at Brush Creek Road by an accident at a blacked out intersection.

According to Santa Rosa and Sonoma County officials, there have been at least two dozens accidents, and numerous injuries, since traffic lights went dark on Tuesday around midnight.  Even though crews are working to restore power, most of the areas of Sonoma County and the North Bay currently without power will likely experience a third night in the dark, before power is restored more fully on Friday.
