Sun and Clouds, Cool Week And Rain Ahead

Although most of the showers have so far missed the North Bay, lots of California is seeing the first real rain and snow of the season as a low pressure system spins across the state. (Image 1)
The mountains are getting their first coating of white as well. This is Mammoth Mountain today. (Image 2)
By the end of the weekend, the storm will have dropped rain in many areas of California as it spins south. (Image 3)
The good news is that more is on the way. After a cool week, rain is headed in for next weekend, probably arriving Saturday. (Image 4)
And with low pressure anchored over the West Coast through the next two weeks at least (Image 5), late November is still expected to be rather wet. (Image 6). With some models predicting the first significant rain for the North Bay next weekend. This is the European Model. (Image 7)
