Storm Door Reopens Late Tuesday

Share with Friends

After a glorious weekend with temperatures in the 70’s across the North Bay, rain and cooler weather is headed back our way.

Initially, rainfall will be light to moderate…but it will continue off and on for the next week at least.  Here is the outlook for rain through Friday.  Generally less than a half inch across Sonoma County and the North Bay.

This will mainly fall Tuesday night through Wednesday.

After that, we’ll have a break through Friday night, when another storm will sweep in.  The total rain through Saturday looks like this.  Still only about an inch total for us.

After that? Well, look for more showery weather off and on after the upcoming weekend.  It’s a bit far out for accuracy right now, but it looks like a low pressure trough will stick around the West Coast, bringing us unsettled weather through early April.

At this point, most forecast models have the rain gradually piling up through early April.  However, there are no giant rain producing storms on the horizon.  Just a bunch of smaller ones.

So, keep the umbrella handy for a while longer.  There are certainly no flooding concerns over the next two weeks, but we will be occasionally wet and windy as winter transitions to spring!
