Spectacular Lightning Captured in Slow Motion Over Santa Rosa

Share with Friends

The line of severe thunderstorms moved through Santa Rosa and the North Bay between 4:30 and 5:30AM bringing frequent lightning, winds of up to 70 miles per hour, heavy rain, numerous fire starts, and power outages.  Most fires were doused by rain, or were brought under control quickly.

The storms also caused fires in the Bay Area, and continued north across Lake County at 40-50 miles per hour.
