RECORDS SET: SANTA ROSA 104

Numerous high temperature records for the date were set across the Bay Area today. These included Santa Rosa at 104 degrees. Some of the hottest NorCal temperatures included Red Bluff at 111°, Redding at 110, Sacramento at 109 and Travis Air Force Base at 110. Local reports had Cloverdale at 108 and Ukiah at 106 degrees, and Windsor and Healdsburg from 105 to 106.

As was forecast, there was a dramatic contrast this afternoon between temperature (black) and humidity levels (green) at the immediate coast vs inland across Sonoma County. (Images 1 and 2)
