National Guard, Volunteers, Turn the Tide of Food Bank Need

Across Sonoma County and the nation, thousands of families find themselves newly jobless with no source of income.  Many are seeking food assistance for the first time in their lives.

But even as shelter-in-place enters its fourth week across the region, a small army of National Guard men and women, along with ordinary citizens, is stepping into the void to rush help where it’s needed.
