Coming up on News of the North Bay….new high definition, high tech cameras mounted on Sonoma County peaks could soon help North Bay agencies spot fires before they get out of hand.

As you can see in the video, two cameras  in Lake County have been trained on the Mendocino Complex fires, and the new funding would add up to eight more across Sonoma County to the growing network.

Coming up…a full story on the new cameras and how they may change the game for fire spotters.
