MORE RAIN LATE SUNDAY-MONDAY, AND (PROBABLY) THURSDAY
A wet storm cycle is going to continue for the next several days across California as at least two different systems impact the state.
As a low pressure center spins into Southern California early on Sunday, Northern California will see some showers on the back end. Then, quick on the heels of this storm a new one arrives from the northwest, spreading rain over the North Bay from late Sunday into midday on Monday.
You can see the forecast from the European model.

And here’s the outlook for rain from the WPC, which is a curated average of the various models.

As you can see, the North Bay should pick up about an inch of rain from the systems on Sunday and Monday, with more in the hills. And, the second storm from the northwest should bring with it cooler temperatures. Here’s a closer look at projected rainfall by Tuesday.

Looking further ahead, there’s a good chance for more rain around Thursday. Most of the models are hinting at the arrival of another storm system. Here is the European ensemble outlook. This is still almost a week away, but as you can see, around three quarters of the ensemble members are clustering around the possibility of a storm for late Wednesday into Thursday.
We’ll keep you posted.
