MORE NORTH BAY SHOWERS POSSIBLE TUESDAY

Share with Friends

The cold front advertised for Monday largely washed out over the North Bay early Monday. However another front is due to arrive Tuesday, with a renewed threat of showers.

The rainfall amounts were light as of early afternoon Monday.

In this satellite view you can see Monday’s front washing out over our area, and the next upstream frontal system approaching for Tuesday.

Despite looking impressive on satellite, most models now show Tuesday’s storm only brushing the North Bay, sending most of the rain to our north just like Monday’s front.

After Tuesday, our next chance for showers may be Monday the 16th. As usual, lots of disagreement on amounts this far out.

But the week ahead should be a bit cooler than normal across Northern California, which will make it feel like fall.
