Moderate to Strong Storm Arrives late Monday

Share with Friends

After a sunny weekend of drying out, the North Bay will once again be in the crosshairs of a fairly strong weather system, one that could arrive late on Monday.

The storm will combine moisture from the west, with cold air from the north.

The storm will have a decent amount of moisture to work with.

Expect the storm to arrive very late Monday or very early Tuesday AM.

Because the main energy for the storm will be a wave from the north, this will be another cold system, with lots of snow in the Sierra and a healthy rainfall for the North Bay, from 1-3 inches.

The storm should move away by Wednesday, with high pressure building in, perhaps bringing fair weather for a longer stretch this time. The long range forecast shows no major storms for at least 4-5 days.
