Gorgeous Warming Weekend – No Fire Concerns in Sight

Share with Friends

The entire North Bay is in for a great weather weekend, with even the coast which has been socked in by the marine layer recently seeing plenty of sunshine and temperatures bumping up over 70 degrees.

As of Friday, high pressure is building across the region, and you can see in the satellite picture that winds from the north are scouring the marine layer away from the coast.

As mentioned, building high pressure will bring us warming temperatures through the weekend, with highs inland reaching the low 90s, and along the coast the low 70s.

And the good news is that light offshore winds are not expected to be that strong, and that means we should not have any fire weather or red flag concerns as we heat up over the weekend.

So, wherever you’re headed this weekend, the weather looks to be pretty perfect for the first official weekend of summer!
