Glass Fire Update for October 6th. Containment Jumps to 50 Percent.
As of Tuesday October 6th, the Glass Fire was almost 67 thousand acres with containment jumping to 50%. With much improved weather conditions, crews have made significant progress in completing containment lines in both Napa and Sonoma Counties.
This morning Cal Fire Battalion Chief Sean Norman gave an update on fire conditions and activity in the fire zone in Sonoma County.
