COOL AND SHOWERY SATURDAY FOR THE NORTH BAY

Share with Friends

Any worries about an offshore wind event have subsided as the deep low pressure center now approaching California will take a track directly over the Bay Area on Saturday.

You can see the low forming off the Pacific Northwest coast.

By Saturday models agree the low should be directly over the Bay Area and North Bay, bringing cool weather and widespread showers.

Very light rainfall totals are expected in our region, while more rain should fall in the hills and mountains of Northern and Central California. Here is the outlook from two high-resolution models.

So, pretty much just a showery and cool Saturday, with a high around 68-72 degrees. The low pressure system will be fast-moving, and Sunday should be a mostly clear and cool day. Very nice fall weather.

By the middle of next week a ridge of high pressure looks likely to move back in, with temperatures rebounding into the mid 80s to low 90s late in the week.
