Another Mountain Lion Collared, Saved by Living with Lions

Share with Friends

This past week marked another big success by a North Bay conservation program dedicated to preserving the region’s apex predators.

On Monday, the Living with Lions team successfully trapped and collared a male mountain lion in West Sonoma County, one that had preyed on domestic livestock the day before.

As Karl Van Amburg and producer Michon Sardella report, the Living with Lions project is proving that humans, and the California mountain lion, can co-exist in a changing landscape.
