An evacuation warning has been issued for areas near a rapidly growing fire north of Cazadero in Sonoma County.  The 13-4 Fire was sparked by lightning early Monday and has been burning along Mohrhardt Ridge for the past 24 hours.  Due to the potential for growth to the south, the Sonoma County Emergency Management Department has issued a warning to residents of rural areas near the fire that evacuation may become necessary.

The warning applies to residents north of the Austin Creek Recreational Area, east of The Cedars, west of Mill Creek Road and south of Stewarts Point-Skaggs Springs Road.

UPDATE: The Hennessey Fire and two others east of the Napa Valley and west of Lake Berryessa exploded Tuesday passing 10 thousand acres by early in the day.  The complex of at least three fires is being called the LIU Complex, and is being battled by around 500 firefighters, 57 engines, 13 water tenders and other equipment.  Air resources were hard to come by due to the number of lightning caused fires being fought in the Bay Area and others in Southern California, but air resources were being requested Tuesday afternoon as the fires pushed east.

All three fires were sparked by lightning strikes on Monday, and evacuation orders were updated to include many roads and communities in the path of the fires between the Hennessey Reservoir and Lake Berryessa.  By Tuesday midafternoon it appeared that the west shore of Lake Berryessa may be threatened.

Both blazes were burning through brush in lightly populated areas to the north and west of Lake Berryessa.  The Gamble Fire was burning near Berryessa Knoxville Road, west of Brooks while the 15-10 Fire was located near the Putah Creek Bridge/Berryessa Knoxville Road.

Meanwhile, air resources were being called in early Tuesday to try to stop the spread of the 13-4 Fire west of Healdsburg, north of Cazadero and south of Lake Sonoma.  The 13-4 was estimated at around 100 acres, and burning through timber in the Mohrhardt Ridge Area.  Crews on the scene reported light winds but a large potential of growth to the south if winds pickup.
