STORM WILL TAPER OFF EARLY WEDNESDAY

Share with Friends

By mid-afternoon Tuesday the latest storm to impact the North Bay had already dropped a third to a half inch of rain across the region. Rain and showers will continue into the early morning hours of Wednesday.

The infared satellite loop shows the storm making landfall early Tuesday afternoon with plenty of showers still headed toward the North Bay behind the cold front.

In the past 24 hours forecast models have trended a bit drier with this system.

By midday Wednesday storm totals should be moderate, from a half inch to an inch across the valleys, with up to 2 inches or more in the hills. Skies will clear later in the day Wednesday with the next storm expected sometime on Saturday.
