Smoke Modeling Hints Air Quality May Improve Late Friday
Smoke modeling shows Sonoma County’s smoke blanket may reduce somewhat later on Friday as northwest winds increase across the region.
These views show smoke modeling for noon on Friday, 8PM on Friday, and 6AM on Saturday. After that, forecasters say a return of onshore winds and a marine layer this weekend may further help to clear hazardous air from the North Bay.
