Showers Moving Across North Bay. Up to an Inch Expected in Hills.

Share with Friends

Light rain from a much-advertised late season cold front has begun across the North Bay.  Here is the current radar.

And the satellite view.  A cold front sweeping across Northern California.

The showers will continue off and on through much of Tuesday, as a couple of storm impulses rotating around a rather impressive looking low pressure center move across the region.

Rain will begin to add up by Tuesday.  Up to an inch (or more?) in the wetter areas of Sonoma County, and about a third to a half inch in places like Santa Rosa, Healdsburg and Petaluma.

Not enough to make a dent in our dry water year, but a nice way to reduce early season fire danger across much of Northern California.
