Live in Guerneville as Russian River Floods

News of the North Bay is Live in Guerneville as Russian River begins to flood, headed toward major flooding on Wednesday and Thursday.  Evacuations have been ordered for the lower river.

 

 

Shelters have been set up at Sebastopol Center for the Arts at 282 High Street, and at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds, Grace Pavillion, 1350 Bennett Valley Road. The shelters will be open beginning Tuesday afternoon, until needed.

The county is providing free shuttles from the Vets Center in Guerneville on Church Street beginning Tuesday afternoon.
