Additional Deaths, Surging Cases Raise Concerns for July 4th Holiday

In just the past week, Sonoma County deaths from COVID-19 have more than doubled, reaching 11 by Friday. This follows a June that saw local cases surge upward, along with increased testing, and contact tracing.

Now, with the county embarking on a long holiday weekend, health experts are nervously watching, and hoping that residents do what’s necessary to protect themselves and others.
