Sonoma County Coronavirus Update, March 22nd
- 25 Active cases in Sonoma County, up from 20 on Friday, and 23 on Saturday
- Volunteers are needed to help deliver supplies like food, medicine to those who need it in Sonoma County, if you can help visit this site: Volunteer Center for COVID-19
- Sonoma County is asking the public and businesses for donations of needed medical supplies. Supplies in bulk are preferred. New, unopened N95 masks, unused original packaging hospital gowns, unused original packaging protective goggles. Donation Site: Salvation Army. 93 Stony Point Rd, Santa Rosa – Monday – Friday 9am –3pm
- California is adding capacity to its hospital bed supply. Currently 78 K beds, another approximately 20K may be needed. State is working to open up formerly shuttered hospitals, moving forward on development of 8 field hospitals and securing hotel and dorm rooms in strategic locations throughout the state
- Santa Rosa City Schools will begin food distribution to students on Monday, March 23rd at 9 locations in the city. The food is available to any K-12 enrolled student countywide, not just in Santa Rosa. Go to this webpage to find locations and hours. Santa Rosa City Schools Free Meals for Students
