SMART Hopes Z-Gates will Save Lives
In the wake of two recent fatalities, SMART Train has installed pedestrian Z-gates at the dangerous Golf Course Drive crossing in Rohnert Park, and plans to do the same at dozens of other road level crossings in the coming weeks.
But, still unknown, is how effective the barriers will be at saving lives. Karl Van Amburg has more.
