Pepperwood Burn Designed to Restore Ecosystem
Smoke rose high above northern Sonoma County on Tuesday.
But this time, the fire was set on purpose, a joint project of Cal Fire and Sonoma County’s Pepperwood Preserve to reduce fuel load, and manage invasive species.
