THE BIG PICTURE

After a lull on Sunday, heavier rain is forecast to arrive across the North Bay on Monday continuing into Tuesday.

RAINFALL TOTALS SO FAR

Our rainfall totals since early Friday across the North Bay.

The plume of moisture shifted north on Sunday.

On Monday the low pressure center you can see to our west will push into California, dragging the moisture plume and a cold front with it. This will bring another period of heavier rain from Monday into Tuesday.

By Wednesday additional rainfall amounts (Sunday through Tuesday) may look like this.

After a brief break Wednesday, another storm is due in on Thursday, continuing off and on into Friday.

Thursday-Friday rainfall may add another half inch to full inch to our totals. This will be a colder storm and heavy snow will fall in the mountains.
