Local Craft Spirits Shine at Distillery Festival 2020

The North Bay is well known for wine and beer, but a weekend festival in Santa Rosa was out to prove that craft spirits are on the rise as well.

The 2nd annual Wine Country Distillery Festival brought together a growing legion of small, local distillers who are experimenting with small batch, handmake spirits.  In past few years the number of craft distilleries has skyrocketed across the nation, with California one of the industry’s hotspots.

Almost 2 dozen distillers came together at Santa Rosa’s Flamingo Hotel to showcase their creations, offering hundreds of local fans a chance to sample the latest in North Bay craft distilling.

For the second year, Poppy and Vine, a North Bay online hospitality company organized the event, and distillers were joined by other local food and beverage vendors as well as food truck operators.

Lindsay Musco of Poppy and Vine told News of the North Bay the craft spirit industry is definitely growing in the North Bay region.
