Live View of Heavy Snow in Sierra. More Rain, Snow for NorCal.

A cold low pressure system will remain just off the California coast through early in the coming week.  The North Bay will have periods of rain and sun breaks, with another storm possible next weekend.

For the Sierra, heavy snow will continue into late Sunday, and then on and off into Tuesday.  4-5 feet of additional snow is expected.  Here is a live view of the snow at the base of Squaw Valley Ski Resort.
