Historic Sonoma County Protests. Where Are We Now?
Over two intense, electrifying weeks, Sonoma County protests sparked by the police killing of George Floyd have seen thousands of largely young people take to the streets demanding justice, and police reform.
The demonstrations have tested whether local law enforcement, and government, can deliver on a pledge to both keep the peace, and answer critics with transparency and a willingness to change.
