Cal Fire Crews Brace for Active Weeks Ahead

Within the past month, the state of California approved a billion dollars in additional fire funding, money that will add more firefighters, helicopters, planes and fire detection cameras to the state’s arsenal.

But, even as those resources come online, fire crews across the North Bay are bracing for some very busy weeks and months ahead, after a relatively slow start to the season.
