Breezy Week Ahead. Red Flag Warnings from Late Monday to Early Wednesday.

The National Weather Service has upgraded its Fire Weather Watch to a Red Flag Warning for the North Bay mountains beginning Monday at 11 PM through Wednesday at 8 AM.
This is due to an expected offshore wind event bringing northerly winds of from 10 to 25 miles per hour with gusts up to 40 mph combined with low humidity and dry fuels. The warning applies to the highest peaks and ridges of northeastern Sonoma County and northern Napa County.
The National Weather Service says this will be a breezy week overall in the hills and mountains of the North Bay, with some of the winds extending into the East Bay hills and mountains as well.  The strongest burst of winds may occur sometime this upcoming weekend, and a Red Flag Warning may be issued again at that time.
