A SERIES OF WEAK STORMS. THEN WARM.

THE BIG PICTURE

A few weak storms will sweep through Northern California from Saturday through Tuesday. No big rains are expected, but cloudy and showery weather will be the theme.

DETAILS

The three weather systems can be seen lined up in the Pacific. They will ride to the north of the high pressure dome, brushing California.

Only moderate rainfall totals are expected, especially since the rain will be spread over 3 days. And, the North Bay will be at the southern fringe of the heavier rain.

After Tuesday of next week, high pressure is expected to build in strongly, with warmer temperatures nudging into the 70s by next weekend.

The extended outlook suggests our temperatures may be warmer than average for late March.

And, if the extended forecast is correct, the next chance for significant rain after Tuesday may not be until sometime in April.
